Mixing Valve For heating and domestic

I installed a 1" V135 honeywell mixing valve on parallel domestic hot water tank setup. Then I read the instructions and it says its meant for heating... example infloor heating. Is it ok to use this valve or are they completely different from a domestic mixing valve
