I treat my well water with H2O2 and run it through a Centaur Carbon filter to remove H2S smell and kill SRBs. I have slippage in my system 2 or 3 times a year where I get the SRB's living in my house and stinking things up. When that happens, I dial up the H2O2 to max, by pass the carbon filter and fill the house full of as much H2O2 as I can. I usually leave things sit for a few hours, then I put the carbon filter back into use. Of course, it's highly inconvenient to do this. Is there any harm to using the water for showers/baths/etc when it is dosed with high Peroxide? I have test strips and they say it is over 100 ppm, but I don't know how much over 100 ppm it is because that is high as the test strips go. It's normally at 20 ppm on a Stenner pump setting of 3, so at a pump setting of 10 I don't imagine it could be a lot over 100 ppm. Some googling suggests some pools operate at 100 ppm. So I'm thinking it is OK. Not sure though?
