my original subfloor, 3/4" (1" nominal) slat boards are not level and I do not plan to remove them
the plan is to flatten/level them as much as I can and then to install 5/8" plywood on top of it and then get the surface level with self leveling concrete or Mapei Planipatch which I am hearing is better on wood that self leveling concrete.
Is there any risk that these (either slefleveling concrete or Planipatch) would crumble in time and cause issues ?
