Low Hot Water Pressure In Kitchen Sink & Dishwasher

My kitchen sink and dishwasher are getting little hot water with very little pressure.

The faucet is a single handle faucet and the pressure reduces dramatically when pushing the handle to hot. The dishwasher is only about 2-3 months old has worked fine until now. A little water comes thru but not near enough to run properly and clean the dishes. I disconnected the hose from the dishwasher at the valve and water is coming through there, though I couldn't tell if the flow was normal or weakened.

It's a small house, but the hot water heater is on the opposite end as the kitchen.

What could be going on here? Is it the water heater or something in the lines? Where do I start?
 
Start by looking under the sink. Where does the dishwasher supply split from the supply to the sink faucet? The blockage would be there or before.

Maybe take a photo of that area.

There are 3 compression valves under the sink. The hot water valve to the sink is directly above the valve to the dishwasher. So you think i should check the top one?

I can't get the valves to come off the pipe, but I guess I can take off the front handle part and see if there's anything in it.

Can the valves themselves wear out and cause an issue like this? I've had problems being able to completely closed the one to the dishwasher in the past.
 
Post a photo that includes the hot valves. People might be able to offer a possible solution.

The problem would not be a wear out, but it could be that a piece of debris came out of the WH and got stuck in the piping or a valve.

You might flush your WH, and watch for any debris. You might turn off the WH heat overnight before flushing. No sense throwing out totally hot water.

Water heater (WH) flushing can be done different ways. The simplest is to
1. Turn off the WH water, and put the WH in vacation mode, if it has one. Otherwise off.
2. Open a hot water tap to pass air.
3. Drain the WH completely. Usually you would use a hose to direct the water. (Take a look at the first water; it may be impressive.)
4. Turn the water supply on fully for a few seconds, and turn off. You are trying to cause turbulence to the bottom of the tank.
5. Do steps 3 and 4 several times. If you have a way to monitor the drained water, you could judge by what you are getting out.
6. Turn the water and WH back on. Close the hot water tap once the air has been expelled and just water is coming out.
