I've been having some issues trying to plan out my DWV system. Initially when I started planning it on paper it seemed easy enough, until I sat down in my bathroom and realized I wasn't thinking in terms of 3D space.
I've included a sketch of my current plan and a picture of the floor from below. The layout of the bathroom has a tub and a shower side by side, this is causing problems because the shower is so close to the soil stack. Ideally I'd like to do this with as few branches from the stack as possible so not to lower headroom in my basement. The house is single level so there's no fixtures above anything on the sketch.
I've been wondering if I might be approaching this wrong all together and could be better off using 3 inch PVC from the double sani-tee for the tub, shower, and sink. Which I believe would allow me to eliminate the 2" and 1.5" vent pipe runs altogether.
Also, I know the pipes most be sloped 1/4" per foot, the sketch doesn't really show that.
