Hi Everyone,

I'm very confused looking for a good compact elongated toilet. I have search the site and read all kinds opinions and still have no idea whats good or bad. Can someone recommend a good compact elongated toilet that does not have problems and is less then 28 1/2 inches from the wall with a 13in rough-in. TIA

Since you have a non-standard rough-in, just add 1" to any of the spec sheets of those involved to get the projection from the wall. Not sure you'll find one elongated. the Toto Drake round, would fit, the elongated won't.

If you had slightly more than 13", you might be able to slip a Vespin CST764S(G) in with the 14" unifit adapter. It would be VERY close to the wall.

This sort of question comes up often...you didn't find anything in your search? If you could move the flange back to a standard 12", you'd gain that inch back.

Thanks for the reply Jim, but there’s no way to move the flange. Well I should say there's no way I'm going to move the flange. It's set in concrete and after all the problems and work that's been done to get the tile floor right there's no way I'm touching the floor. The owner of the house insists on an elongated but doesn't want it to go beyond 28 ½ inches. I see that AS has a compact Cadet elongated at HD but it is an online order only. With all the talk on this site about returning the Cadets because of problems, I’m real nervous about ordering online. I was just hoping someone here knew of a standard elongated that would fit that didn’t have problems.

Thx

The Toto Aquia would be about 28-3/4" from the wall on a 13"
and 27-3/4" on a 12" rough.
It's really the most compact elongated toilet I'm aware of.

Maybe Ian will read this and back me up, but I like the Cadet 3 and I think you can get it delivered for about 175$ online.

It may come broken, but that's another thread.

Compact Cadet 3 one-piece 29-1/2" from the back wall on a 13" rough $473.00 retail

Compact Cadet 3 two-piece 29-1/4" from the back wall on a 13" rough, $306.00 retail

Can someone recommend a good compact elongated toilet that does not have problems and is less then 28 1/2 inches from the wall with a 13in rough-in. TIA
