Came home to Fine just a trickle of water from the Hot side of the Kitchen sink. Same in the Guest bath sink and shower. Master Bath has Full strength Hot water even seems to a bit stronger than Normal. I tried to do a back flow from Kitchen sink Blocking off the aerator at the kitchen sink, turning off the water supply to water heater, then turning on the cold water line to backflow in to the hot side at the sink. Wala it worked like a charm. Full pressure at Kitchen sink and the previous bathroom. But...... Then the problem switched to the bathroom that was previously getting good pressure. What the heck ? So i drained the water heater and back flowed the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink that now has the low flow at the same time. The Problem Switched back to the Kitchen sink and other bathroom ????? Im totally lost at this point and ready to hook a compressor up to it ... Any Ideas ?????

Disconnect the hot water supply line from the water heater and connect directly to the cold feed supply using a 3/4 inch nipple, then turn the water heater supply valve on and see by chance this helps ?

If not , disconnect the hot water feed from the cold supply and connect a water hose to it,then take the water hose out to the outside , then back flush the whole hot water system by running cold water from the furthest fixtures ,you can also attach a shop vacuum hose to the end of the water hose to help extract any debris or object.

Hopefully this helps !

Going to keep back flowing from all sinks into Hot water heater while being drained from hose to outside ... hopefully what ever it is will dislodge ..If not i guess im screwed ... Even the plumber friend i know said WOW thats weird . Does anyone think a Air compressor hooked up to the hot side of the clothes washer line would be a bad idea ??? Like performing a cold weather prevent

Just to nitpick a tad. You confuse "pressure" with "flow". This is so commonly done, the responders knew what you meant. If you had connected a pressure gauge to that trickle, you would have found the same pressure as the rest of you house. Glad you solved the problem by whatever name. LOL

When was the last time you flushed your water heater before all this happened?
Sounds like your dip tube deteriorated and block all your valves.
Suggest you check it.
