Hello! I was looking at installing a Liberty 404 for a washer/laundry sink. I was going to vent the product in a 1.5 inch stack that is connected to an existing(however, not in use anymore) sink.

I was going to remove the old sink drain fitting.

Then I was going to simply install a wye fitting on this existing drain setup and drain the 404 directly into it. Is this okay? Or does it need to be directly into my 3 inch discharge?

Drain pipe sizing is determined by the GPM of the pump. There should be a chart that indicates what gpm you will see by the head / lift that you need to get to your drain. The most it will be is 35gpm
