My locally supply house has started carrying hyperpure. In the past I have only been able to order Uponor PEX online. They are telling me hyperpure works with all the Uponor fittings. I would love to be able to purchase from the local supply house if this is the case. I have found very little information on the hyperpure. Does anyone have any experience with it.

I do. It's good. Not quite as flexible as Uponor. The good thing about it is that it's an oxygen barrier too, vs regular Uponor which isn't. It's also not actually PEX. It's PERT which stands for poly ethylene raised temperature. Not 100 percent sure of the process, but it's not cross linked poly ethylene like PEX is.

I actually think the hyperpure could take the place of regular PEX. But who really knows something like that.

I find no claim that hyperpure PEX works with F1906 fittings and methods. I see they say that some can be used with F2080 fittings. Those are a more expensive and less common fitting than the F1906 method.

They work. The asme codes overlap.

Thanks that is great info. That makes me feel better about using it and I can use the Uponor fittings and rings I have in stock.

Not that big a deal for me but the warranty issue of mixing and matching parts could very well matter to some people. in other words you might have no warranty on it. I don't really know if the warranty is any good to begin with , its the kind of thing you find out about when a loss occurs

I haven't looked into that deeply bit as far as I know it can be connected in any of the ways that pex can be.
