I just installed ss braided flex hoses from my water heater tank to cpvc. Would it be overkill to use cpvc to 3/4"npt brass transition to a brass ball valve? Or, should most applications warrant just the cpvc valve? (hadn't been turned off since 1985). Old cpvc valves were marked flo-control. They dripped from the stem when I turned them off, that's why I am changing them.
Thanks for any input. I apologize, but I am no plumber. Just like to do a job once, and get many years of service from it. (like the 24 years from my old State water heater). Much appreciate the info.
