Leaking Toilet Base

Hi, hope you can help because I might replace the wax ring myself - I'm assuming that the leak comes from here because the toilet is stable, and no obvious cracks in porcelain.
The toilet is sealed all round - is the water supply valve inside the system. The only possible access bolts seem to be those two on the side.

The 2 bolts on the side are what secures the toilet to its mount. What do you see when you remove the tank lid? I suspect the inlet valve is in the tank. The leak shown is most likely a failed wax ring.

I truly hate (and will always advise against) hard to set hidden WC mounts with hidden water supply. not worth the beauty it purports to provide.
You will need to cut the floor to fixture "seal" with a utility knife.

When does it leak... pretty much constantly, or only during a flush? A wax ring would leak only during a flush if at all.

I don't like to tell people how to spend their money or interfere with decorative taste, but I would be seriously tempted to replace the toilet with a standard, conventional style two piece toilet that takes regular/normal parts.

Getting replacement parts for that toilet might be extremely costly or impossible.
