Leaking Delta Shower Faucet

Delta shower faucet leaks (beyond dripping). Should I buy a new cylinder or buy springs and seats?

watch a youtube video.
Be very cautious if you have never done before.
after turning off water: remove the handle, then you unscrew the cap/dome; BUT beware: the valve body is connected to the main fixture with three weak copper tubes and if you rotate the cap/dome and it doesn't release from the body you can end up screwing the three tubes instead and you have a ruined and damaged fixture.
Caution and proceed with the right tools or call a licensed/insured professional.
