Fiberglass one piece shower and tub units, is one or two better than the others??? Thanks

Also on Hamiltons website (parent company praxis) it says: "Due to nature of materials, dimensions may vary +/- 1/2"
Is this normal???

Some of the build operations are manual, so yes, variations will occur. No idea which one is better. I hope this is a new house that is not yet fully framed...those one-piece units often end up getting built in as the walls go up since they are so big, it is often impossible to get them in through corridors, doorways, stairs.

For new construction, by all means use a one piece. Anytime you have a joint or seam, there is a potential for a leak someday. Also much easier to keep clean.
