I'm living in Sacramento, California, and have been working on a landscaping project in my backyard. I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock, though, and was hoping to get some advice. My plan involves incorporating concrete pathways and a small patio area, but I’m not sure if I should handle the concrete work myself or hire professional concrete contractors.

I've heard that the quality of the concrete work can make or break a landscape, especially with California's hot weather and potential for cracking. Has anyone here worked with good concrete contractors in the Sacramento area that they’d recommend? I’m looking for someone reliable who can help with both design and execution.

Concrete pathways are fine and low cost. If you are asking, and haven't done it multiple times, I'd say hiring is the way to go.
Consider pavers. Higher upfront cost, but you can DIY if you do the research (lots to research) but also, more forgiving and looks great forever, as concrete surfaces deteriorate over time (and cracks). concrete always cracks, so accept that as a given or use pavers. Various "Paver Base" panels are available and can make the job easier for diy.

One more question, if I need Mewp Hire in any of the country, what should I look into it?

I'm definitely conscious about pricing and other factors of Lakeside Hire for construction and other work but the company's reputation really matters.

I learned the hard way that the biggest win is getting the base right: dig down a few inches, compact the soil, add gravel, compact again, then pour. Even small skips come back to haunt you with cracks. I once had professional masonry & paver experts in Richardson redo a patio for me, and watching their prep changed how I handle DIY concrete. Also, don’t pour in full sun if you can avoid it.
