Hello, i have just installed a 1 1/2 hp franklin subm pump, pump relay and a 6"x 36" ultimate filter in a watershed lale i own. I just tested it and it works great. It wasnt cheap! My question is there must be a way to protect the pump incase the sprinkler control box scewed up some kind of way. Guess im worried that some way it could tell the pump to come on and not activate the sprinkler heads...thus the pump would run until it burned up.

How can i protect it?

I have a pool heater that has a flow control that shuts down the heater if no water moves through the line.

Help would be appreciated

thanks
