I am currently installing a double shower with two Kohler high flow thermostatic valves. I have 3/4” Uponor PEX run so the fittings are a little bigger than regular crimp style fittings. I am sort of having an issue with the spacing of the two valves and curious to know if it would be okay to use 90’s at the valve or does the PEX need to be straight for so many inches before going up through the top plates of the wall?

Personally, if I needed the high volume, I wouldn't use pex, at least 3/4". Now, if you could make those runs in say 1", you'd maximize the valve's capabilities.

With any fluid, the more elbows you use, especially with higher flow rates, causes dynamic pressure loss.

Hey, wait a minute.
