Hello,

I'm trying to replace a leaky faucet but having a hard time accessing the mounting nut to loosen the faucet. Looks like the mounting bracket was put on wrong. I've used a basin wrench, adjustable wrench, regular wrench, pilers but can't get a good grip. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thinking about using a grinder to cut off the bracket.

Thanks,
Frustrated Woman

The shower valve socket may work.
Or sometimes I take a drill bit and drill off the nut. Any drilling or grinding needs eye protection.
