Here's a drain pickle for the kitchen sink.

The main line exits to the septic in the basement on the other end of the house. By the time I run the kitchen drain across the basement with a 1/4" per foot slope, it will be lower than the exit to the septic. We do have an airtight sump/ejector pump servicing the basement half bath (toilet and sink) but my spidey-senses are telling me that's not how you do it. What does one do in this situation?

Thanks for any input!

Find out what your local codes require. If you go to a 3" drain pipe you should be allowed to use a 1/8" slope.

You need to provide more info, like:
- kitchen elevation in relation to the basement.
- distance from the kitchen to the "other end of the house".
- Distance from that point to the septic tank.
