I remodeled a kitchen using Ikea cabinets.
The drawers don't have wood sides and dovetails, but the hardware is all Blum (very good quality). In my case the doors and drawer fronts are solid wood (floating panels were 1/4" ply, which is good). You get quality and value, but unfortunately it lacks the snob appeal.
I got fast building them up, but I used a narrow crown stapler to attach the backs - forget putting in 30 little brad nails one at a time, I'm not a masochist.
It's an extremely well engineered system.
