I have a 2005 vintage 4060 with Macrolite. I did a full rebed and cleaned the head and the bypass valve too.
In cleaning the bypass I think I messed up the mode setting of the bypass valve.
My raw water inlet is top left. The “in” arrow on the head is on the bottom left. The out arrow in the head is bottom right. And the house plumbing connects on the top right.
I am getting hard water in the house. But the water feeding the brine tank is soft. So I am getting raw water mixing or bleeding into the house.
I have throughly checked the head so I am good there. I am now thinking I turned the valve 360 degrees while cleaning and messed something up.
I found a manual for the newer Mach valve but I can’t find one for mine.
How can I verify that I am in the correct mode, which I believe is A-C if they didn’t change the configuration of the valves?
