I'm doing a bathroom remodel and have shower wall down. The existing valve and fixtures are being reused.

The brass valve to copper was done with threaded connections, not soldered..... no leaks so should I leave as is or solder?

Asumme using threaded connections still code in Virginia?

Take a picture of your valve. Depending on the brand/style or might be wise to change it now.
