My plumber is doing rough-in for a bathroom. This is the p-trap he installed for the planned walk-in shower. Is the j-bend in the trap backwards? From what I can tell, the j-bend is backwards. If so, is this a big enough deal to have him re-do?

Can anyone explain why the U section of a trap usually has a tighter radius on one side?
