Is This Hose Bib Soldered or Threaded?

Need to replace this leaky hose bib. I cleaned it off and couldn't see any threads exposed so it seems like it's soldered, yet it it's got a hex shape that can accept a wrench. Is it a given that having a hex shape like that means it must be threaded?

I think you need to be prepared to go into the wall behind.
And if it turns out it's threaded, even better.
I normally expect that I would have to open up some wall inside.
