We had 16 shower units built. To me the push button is cock eyed on the metering rough in. All 16 units are like this. To fix this I'd have to roll the shower head pipe in with 45's. That's a lot of work.

Acceptable to who? Gets a shrug from me, but "he who pays the piper, calls the tune" and all that.

The three latest photos do NOT show anything other than the tilted stem. IF the cause of the problem is the slanted riser shown in the first photo, then you DO have to "repipe it" so the riser is vertical.
