Is it ok if I use this 5" brass nipple on galvanized pipe?

Is it ok to put this brass nipple on galvanized pipe without dielectric union between them?
and on another end is it ok to put compression shut off valve?

I read that brass does not react with either galvanized pipe or copper valve but confirming with pro/experts

Brass will work on galvanized, but during a remodel, it is not prudent to leave any galvanized in the mix. While it can last a number of years, the brass could easily outlast a typical human's lifespan and be perfectly fine, galvanized will be rusting and decreasing the ID and eventually leak.
