Is 1/2-inch PEX too small for a kitchen?

The kitchen is plumbed right now with 1/2-inch copper but I need to reroute the lines to prevent freezing. The water flow is great right now; I know PEX has a smaller inside diameter, so will a 15-foot run of 1/2-inch PEX provide enough water flow?

Also, I want to bring the PEX up from the floor to keep it inside the walls of the house. Was planning to fasten the ears on the ell to the wall . The service will be located inside a cabinet. Is this OK by code?

1/2" PEX if fine for the kitchen sink and dishwasher.

1/2 PEX for the kitchen is fine, particularly if it's the expansion type. Codes vary by locality.

All of the fixtures in the kitchen are flow restricted, so you will not likely notice any restrictions caused by the pex ID from being smaller than copper.
