just finished this install. it is for a farm that will run a rain reel and drip irrigation. it also has a fire department connection

Thanks for the pictures. Beautiful job! But when you paint all the other pipe red that pretty red CSV doesn't stand out. :)

Thanks! The csv and the flow meter were both red from factory. Everything else was a menagerie of different colors so I figured since two components were already red.....

How is it supposed to work? What part does the CSV do, and what is the thing with the big blue coil?

The well feeds an irrigation system for a vegetable farm. We installed a 6" main out into the field with risers to connect a rain reel traveling sprinkler and or drip tubing. The csv will allow for the varying flow requirements. The blue spring is called a tri-action valve it is a pressure, vacuum, and air relief valve. similar to these pics
