Insulating every pipe inside and out.

Would it help/hurt to insulate every pipe in the house with armacell, armaflex, or kflex insulation tubes? I'm talking in the attic and under the sink? Cover every inch of every pipe. We are getting ready to remodel an old house so we were buying storage units with stuff we needed. One unit had 26 cases of the insulating tubes. Just trying to figure out what to do with these things other than using them to make floating pool furniture.

Beware that if you are insulating to prevent freezing, you should mostly insulate just the side exposed to the cold. Pipe wrap does not discriminate between insulating from cold and from warm. If the pipe is entirely within the warm space, pipe wrap on cold water lines can reduce or eliminate sweating and on hot water lines reduce temperature loss on long runs.
