Installing a free standing bath tub into existing shower with existing drain.

Greetings,

I would like to install my fee standing tub over the existing shower drain. I will attach a picture of the drain. The opening is 3.5” and at 3” depth it seems to be 1.5 inch pipe. Can I use the editing drain with a retrofit? Or do I need to open it up and redo?
