Insanity and no compassion

Friday, I went to Brooklyn, NY, for a scalding case. 8/14

The 6-month-old infant was severely scalded by 165.7 deg temperature and is still in intensive care.

While I was recording the temperature, the child's aunt told me, "The water is always scalding, but I forgot to tell my sister who was bathing her son; they are visiting from South Carolina"


The lawyer said you would be here today (Friday) and I was wondering do you have any idea how much money I will get, since it happened in my apartment?

I was stunned and finally said, "You'd better ask the lawyer as each case is different"

Imagine seeking a "reward" for a child being almost scalded to death in your apartment. NO compassion for her nephew

Its all about the money , that is why the water heater companies send the electric heaters out on low
and have an inspector in the factory mark every one just to be sure they dont get sued when someone scalds their own
kids in a rental property after the plumber installs a new heater......

the government needs to appoint someone like--- Honest Al Sharpton --to handle litigation like in these cases...

Sad that the aunt thinks any monies would go to her and not the child. What kind of person wouldn't test the water temp first specially for a baby?
