How to tell if this is vented?

Hi all,

Attached an image of the original basement bathroom sink configuration. It looks like an S trap to me. We used this sink for 1 year and have had 0 issues with sewer gas/siphoning etc. We are replacing the sink assembly and planning to add a P-trap. I would like to know how to figure out if this is vented or not? If not i assume my best course of action is to add an AAV given?

Thank you sir! What do you recommend I do now that i'm in this situation attached? I can't tear up the floor to relocate the drain, but would like to minimize the amount of space taken up by the required correction. Is it ok to cut the pipe short, use 45 fittings to get the pipe closer to the back wall, and then use a tee + AAV + the P-trap? How high should the AAV be? I read that it should be higher than the sink? If i only have to be x" higher than the P-trap arm, how low can my P-trap be relative to the connection at the sink?

Could this pipe be acting as a wet vent for the sink?
