I've installed a handheld bidet in one of the toilets but the space between the water outlet and the adapter's inlet is too little, like 3-4 inches. Is this too much stress on the pipe? I'm afraid it might fail eventually. Appreciate the feedback. I've attached the picture.

That looks like too much to me. The trick here is to buy a longer supply and install it with a circular loop.

With flex connectors, I like the valve to not output directly at the faucet. So the curves are more gentle.

Yeah, the stop valve is working well. I will try putting a longer supply line in circular loop.
