How do you (temporrily) support 3 inch PVC pipe during a new installation?

Adding a brand new bathroom and all the plumbing required in the crawl space.
Installing 10 ft long 3 inch pipes is pretty awkward, especially since I'm doing the job alone.
What techniques do you guys use to hole the new pipes in place while fitting and gluing?
I am thinking about using plastic strapping attached to the joists above my head, but there may be something easier and/or better.

I support the 3" at grade before I make my cuts. Several methods can be used, plumbers strap hung from joists and J hook hangers for DWV are two.
1/4" per foot or 2.5" in ten feet.

Some times I do like Terry if hanging below joists. but with 2x4 flat blocks if in joist bay .
