I have to replace my 20 year old water heater (died two days after its 20th birthday, 2005 of this month. Must have been mad I forgot its special day). The expansion tank I discovered is also history. Been 20 years, so I am rusty (no pun intended) on some of this from the first time I set it up.

My home water pressure is 78 psi and so I am supposed to set the expansion tank to 78 psi.

My gauge, like almost all that I am finding, only goes up to 60 psi. The pressure tank has that needle value like a bicycle tire.

What are most people using or buying to check these tanks when they go over 60 psi?

Thank you. Yes, I don't know how I missed them in my search yesterday. Fresh mind and start of a new day and I found many. Picked one up at HD that did the trick!
