i just installed a Cycle Sensor for my shallow well pump. All went well with the install but while I was adjusting the cycle sensor switch, I noticed my pump run time is only 37 seconds. I know it should be one minute or so. How do I change this? Also, when the pump is not running, the display in the Cycle Sensor flickers between 1.00 and 1.01. Why?

37 seconds is fine. The old 1 minute rule is for pumps running at max amps and cycling all the time. The CSV reduces the amps on the motor, it doesn't run as hot, and doesn't need 60 seconds to cool down. Plus, the pump has usually ran to supply the water needed before it takes an additional 37 seconds to fill the tank. Only something like a slow drip would cause the pump to run 37 seconds just to refill the tank, and still doesn't hurt anything.

The Cycle Sensor is reading stray voltage like from florescent lighting and stuff in the area. It will only go to zero after shutting off the power so it has nothing to read. Again perfectly normal.
