I have two cases pending from two different law firms.

Both cases involve a GE Hotpoint stove "exploding." Does anyone on here ever hear of this before?

Thank you

Have a whirlpool gas stove 5 years old. When looking for a gas stove noticed on LG and WP both were about the same. Both of us are 5' 6". Could reach over the stove microwave and are waists bumbing into a burner knob and would turn on the burner with spark igniter would lite he burner. Ate one of the microwave plastic covers for the food. Had a local factory approved serviceman come out looked at it WP said their was nothing they would do. Told us to use child locks on the knobs. All brands seem about the same. Just push to turn on knob doesn't take much to turn on.

In both cases, the door "exploded," and one of the victims lost an eye .

The other set the entire kitchen on fire, and the guy had severe burns

I told each lawyer about the other case they are working on together, and thanked me for putting them in contact with each other.

This actually helped me as now I have documentation that is a chonic problem

Stoves that I was looking at have the ovens on a electronic panel not a knob.
