Evening all,

Replaced the springs and rubber seats in a Price Pfister Classic series shower ball valve due to a slow leak.

All went back together well, but now instead of just a bit off center left to get a warm shower it takes full left to get a comparable temperature.

Have disassembled and flushed water through thinking maybe trash got in hot line with no change.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Alan

OP here,

For anyone interested, new rubber seats had mushroomed and prevented the ball from seating as it should have. When the slot on the ball engaged, because of the rubber seats, the slot was very close to its rearmost point instead of centered as it should have been. I removed the springs from below the rubber seats, and reinstalled the rubber seats.

No leaks, and operation back to normal.
