Hello,

After a recent bathroom remodel, our new Kohler Shower Faucet seems to have cold / hot reversed. When turning faucet on, the water is immediately hot, then gets cold once you turn further clockwise. Not a big deal, but we are selling the house and the buyers wanted that fixed.

I thought I could flip the cartridge / mixer valve 180 degrees to fix this. I turned off water supply, removed handle, removed those two screws and the clip. I could not seem to remove the cartridge and the metal plate surrounding it. I attached some pictures.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..
