I'm not able to turn the "handle" on a hose bibb either way, possibly because I'm a small-sized 90-year-old woman. I tried hitting the hose bibb gently with a hammer to loosen it up, but this didn't work.
I could ask a stronger neighbor to help, or could apply more leverage with a tool, but am afraid this might do some damage because the hose bibb is somewhat unstable due to the way it's connected to a remote-control valve.
I'm thinking of using Liquid Wrench or WD-40, or is there something better?
