Hi all,
A little background first. I am building my own home, I'm not a plumber by trade but have done quite a bit of my own in the past, I really try to make sure everything is to code and done nice and clean. The last house I built, although small did not have any violations.

My specific issue right now is figuring out a way to branch horizontally, off of an already horizontal vent run. This is above the ceiling of the first floor, and would involve laying some type of tee on its side or using a wye due to structural restrictions. I cannot find anything in the book or by searching that gives me a definitive answer.
