I’m in the process of building my own pole barn house and have all the plumbing drains in under the slab and now need to route the vents out. I really don’t want any holes in my roof at all. So can I by code (Ipc 2015 in my area) run my vents horizontally up to 25 feet to the gable sides of the house and vent them out the sides? And does it still have to extend 12” above the roof? There are no over hangs or eaves on the sides. This forum has provided so much help so far thanks to who all has contributed!
