Hi! We recently had our septic line replaced as there were tree roots growing through the old one, causing frequent backups through the floor drain when the washing machine was run. The cleanout plug to our floor drain was lost and now there's a sewer smell in our basement. I'm wondering what I need to buy to replace it and where I can find it. Thanks!

If there are threads there, then perhaps a cleanout plug would work. That would be the one on the outer edge.
The center drain should have a p-trap below with water sitting there to seal the sewer gas from coming up. The edge drain bypasses the p-trap.

Got it, thanks! So even if the P-trap is full, because the edge drain bypasses it, the smell could definitely be coming from there? I think there are threads, just old and gunky.

Update: The plug pictured was too big. Any other ideas? I can't find any smaller than 1-1/2"

You really should measure stuff. Get a digital calipers and have numbers for future operations.

You could look for various size rubber stoppers, and put in one that fits, or measure first.
