I guess the first step is to ID the shower valve, which is a two dial 8" center, in a claustrophobic fiberglass vertical coffin. The part I'm trying to replace is the nut and brass inlet piece on both the hot and cold side.
The pics show holes in the threads and sealing side of the nut, which Locke's told me is a union, but that they don't carry. So far, I've only tried white Teflon tape, but it still leaks. I think I made the insert oblong getting the old 1/2" threaded part out. Id like to get the 3/4" PEX to the inlets with minimal cost.
