Help, what part do we need, DIY repair gone wrong

20 plus year shower handle broke off. Did a diy repair with similar valve stems,did not break into the wall, but now the handles stick out too far from the wall. See picture and please send help. Thanks.

yu are missing the "bell/escutcheon" that goes between the handle and the wall.
