Had a pull-out spray head, single handle kitchen faucet installed 5 years ago and the braided plastic hose is now frayed under the sink and won't retract properly. Cannot find manufacturer's name anywhere on the faucet to order a replacement hose. Can anyone help with:

1/ who makes this faucet?

2/ have read a several online postings on replacing hoses on generic faucets, but any suggestions on how to replace this particular version?

thank you much!

There is usually a "tag" on the hot water pipe indicating the make and model of the faucet. It is neither a "generic" faucet or hose. It is proprietary to that manufacturer, and maybe even that model, so you have to determine make and model before you can proceed further.

Thanks for the reply - unfortunately there is no tag on either the hot or cold water pipe feed leading up to the faucet. Find it odd that a manufacturer wouldn't want their logo / company name somewhere on their product! Hate to think my only recourse is to purchase a whole new faucet due to the failure of a plastic hose. :-(
