This is rough sketch of my kitchen sink setup. My house was built in 1895 but had so many things changed through the years, apparently by people who didn't know what they were doing. I understand there are many issues with this picture. I am currently remodeling and would like some advice on getting everything up to code.

I want to install a large single basin sink with a garbage disposal. Do I install a P-Trap under the sink? Do I need the AAV? How about venting for the sump pump in the basement?

Any advice is appreciated.

The AAV goes above the p-trap, not below.
Here is a picture that someone posted here. This works.

Here's one I installed for an Island sink.

The Sump Pump normally just pumps into the stack without a p-trap. The Sump Pump will have a check valve after the pump anyway.
