The faucet is a Signature Faucet (Not signature Hardware brand,) 3-way that has a separate control for water from an R/O filter.
Less than a year after install, The Hot/cold control is leaking. They are sending a replacement cartridge but their instructions they sent, with photos don't match my faucet. They say to simply unscrew the ring and the exposed brass threads have a flat spot to use an adjustable wrench for removal, but the ring or cover doesn't come off.
See the photos, any ideas on how to remove this faucet cartridge. Do those 4 tabs have anything to do with removal?
Any brand name faucets with this 3 way feature, I don't want to drill a hole through the counter top for tap? This is the 3rd one from 3 different China brands that have failed in a short time frame.
