Hello everyone, Needing some help here. Not a plumber but super handy. I have a small slab leak and plumbers have decided the best course of action is to reroute the main water pipe coming into the house instead of digging under the slab. Only thing is like most of Americans right now there is now way I can afford a $6K repair. I really think I can do most of this work.

Can you help me identify which of these pipes would be the main water pipe. on the other side of this wall is my water closet with my water heater.

Not really. The hot side of the water heater is on the left side if you look at the water heater from the front This should mean it'd be the one on the left in the picture. But there's two left pipes. Your main water should have a valve on it as it comes out of the slab.
