I am stuck at this step. Really don't know what to do next. I don't want to brute force it because it's already leaking. It might damage the value inside. I am trying to replace it but I don't know the brand where I can specifically YouTube on how to disassemble it. It's not written anywhere. I attached a picture of how it looks before disassembly. There is no set screw or anything all over that trim wall plate or circular part.

The cartridge puller tool didn't help either as there is one Moen cartridge puller available at home depot. Perhaps a different brand? There seems to be a step before that, usually a U-shaped clip that needs to be removed. Everything is cased in that cylindrical thing where I can't see any clips or pins.

Probably will need to remove the escutcheon plate regardless. Not sure myself but I would put a channel lock around the collar and turn is counter clockwise. Careful you don't crush it. You may have to give is shot of WD4 at the plate and collar.
