Hi, started trying to repair dripping kitchen faucet. Having some trouble getting the stem out of the valve. The packing nut started to move but now seems jammed tight. Wondering if it is possible to find a replacement valve. I think it is a Price Pfister but so far not much luck finding anything. In any case I would probably need a new stem, if I eventually do get the old one out.

Otherwise are there any suitable alternatives I could use to replace it?

It is Pfister. If you put a wrench on the valve body, you should be able to get the packing nut off. Beyond that, not worth the effort to find a whole valve...get yourself a single handle kitchen faucet and call it a day.

Thanks. I got the stem / cartridge out. The seat washer is in pretty bad condition (presumably the cause of the dripping faucet). The stem is around 4 7/8 inches. Looking around, I can find:

Pfister 910-8250 (hot) / 910-6830 (cold)
GS10-710 (hot) / GS10-701 (cold) - this is the part number given by only Lowes and Home Depot but it looks the same
Danco 10H-15H (hot) / 10H-15C (cold) - listed as equivalent to 910- series stems above.

There is also Price Pfister 130489 / 130490 part listed by some ebay / amazon suppliers, but again, this looks very similar and some give equivalency to GS10- parts.

I need the hot (left hand) version. There is a bit of confusion among suppliers about which part number is for the hot side and which is for the cold side, but I think I have that figured out.

All of these seem relatively easy to get hold of, and there does not seem to be anything else out there that looks similar. Is this the right replacement part?
